What Causes The Sudden Failure Of The Ultrasonic Plastic Welding Machine?
Apr 09, 2025
1. Power supply problem
Unstable voltage (such as less than 220V±10V) may cause the equipment to fail to start or operate abnormally.
A blown fuse, short circuit or poor contact will trigger the protection mechanism. Check the internal wiring and fuse status of the electrical box.
2. Ultrasonic Generator failure
Current overload: Abnormal internal impedance of the transducer or welding head (such as cracks, looseness) causes the current to surge and trigger the alarm.
Waveform abnormality: The input waveform of the transducer has spikes or discontinuous sine waves, and replacement components need to be used for troubleshooting.
Component damage: Failure of the power tube, tuning capacitor or transformer may affect the output frequency, resulting in howling or welding failure.
3. Ultrasonic Transducer damage
External impact, long-term overload or fatigue may cause cracks in the ceramic sheet inside the transducer. Check whether there is oil or cracks on the surface.
Loose connection between the transducer and the amplitude transformer will hinder vibration transmission. It needs to be re-tightened and the no-load amplitude uniformity tested.
