1. Overheating protection mechanism activated
Working principle: To prevent core components such as oscillators and generators from burning out due to high temperatures, temperature control sensors are installed inside the machine. Once the temperature exceeds the safety threshold, the ultrasonic working circuit will be forcibly cut off and enter a shutdown protection state. Normal operation will only resume after the machine has naturally cooled to a safe temperature.
Trigger scenario: Working continuously for more than 15-30 minutes (depending on the model); The ambient temperature is too high or the heat dissipation is poor.
Solution:
Adhere to the work cycle: strictly follow the recommended "work/rest" cycle in the manual (e.g. work for 10 minutes, rest for 3 minutes). Do not allow the machine to run continuously beyond the time limit.
Ensure ventilation and heat dissipation: Clean the heat dissipation holes around and at the bottom of the machine, make sure there are no debris blocking them, and place them in a well ventilated area.
2. The timing function is set or enabled incorrectly
Troubleshooting point: Check the digital screen or mechanical knob. Have you set the timer to 3 minutes or 5 minutes? If so, then 'always stopping' is actually 'task completion'.
Solution:
Carefully read the instruction manual: understand how to correctly set and cancel the timer function.
Restore default settings: Try adjusting the timer to the desired duration (such as 10-15 minutes), or perform a shutdown and restart to restore the machine to its default state.
3. Improper water level triggers protection
Similar to not working at all, water level issues can also cause intermittent work.
Low water level: If the water level is below the minimum mark (MIN line), poor heat dissipation of the oscillator will cause rapid heating and trigger overheating protection, resulting in shutdown. After cooling, it may temporarily resume operation due to a decrease in water temperature, forming a cycle.
High water level: Excessive water level fluctuates violently under the action of ultrasonic waves, which may splash into the internal circuit of the machine, causing a risk of short circuit or triggering liquid level protection.
Solution: It is necessary to inject water according to the "MAX" and "MIN" water level lines marked on the inner groove. It is recommended to use purified water or distilled water to reduce scale.
