At present, there are some ultrasonic cleaners in the cleaning tank. The transducers attached to the bottom or wall of the cleaning tank are too closely distributed, arranged one by one. The power intensity of the input transducers reaches 2-3 watts per square centimeter. On the one hand, such high intensity will accelerate the cavitation corrosion of the stainless steel plate surface (the surface in contact with the cleaning solution) and shorten the service life.

 

On the other hand, because the sound intensity is too high, a large number of large bubbles will be generated near the steel plate surface, increasing the loss of sound transmission, and weakening the cleaning effect at the place far away from the ultrasonic transducer. Generally, 0.75 watt per square centimeter of power intensity is preferred (calculated according to the area of steel plate with transducer attached). If the cleaning tank is deep, in addition to the transducer stuck on the bottom of the tank, the adhesive transducer should also be considered on the tank wall, or only on both sides of the tank.
