Welding application categories
(1) Ultrasonic welding of copper and aluminum foils using metal foil is a typical application in battery production. The thickness of the foil varies from 6um to 0.3mm, and the number of layers welded ranges from two to 160. Typical cases include pole ear welding of square shell cells, soft packs, and cylindrical cells
(2) In ultrasonic welding of terminals, the thickness of the metal plates that are welded to each other can reach 3mm, and the welding strength requirements for this application are much higher. Features of Ultrasonic Battery Cell Spot Welder
