As the name suggests, ultrasonic horn can change the amplitude of ultrasonic transducer. Horn is a kind of passive device, which does not produce vibration itself. Q: Suggestions on installation of high power ultrasonic transducer

Q: Working principle of ultrasonic welding:

A: The ultrasonic power supply and transducer transmit the ultrasonic energy to the welding area through the upper weldment. As the welding area is the joint of two welds, in which the acoustic resistance is large, local high temperature will be generated. Due to the poor thermal conductivity of plastic, nylon, chemical fiber, non-woven fabric, multilayer cloth, gold cloth and other materials, they cannot be distributed in time and gather in the welding area, which resulting in the rapid melting of the two contact surfaces, plus a certain amount of pressure, so that they are integrated. When the ultrasonic wave stops, the pressure continues and has a small duration to solidify and form a solid molecular chain for welding.
