The most important consideration in the use of Ultrasonic Welding Oscillator is to match the input and output, followed by mechanical installation and matching size. The frequency of the transducer is relatively straightforward. The frequency refers to the frequency measured by the transmission line method with the frequency (function) generator, millivolt meter, oscilloscope, etc., or the frequency measured by the network impedance analyzer and similar instruments. Generally known as small signal frequency. Corresponding to it is the on-board frequency, that is, the customer will be connected to the transducer through the cable to the case, after power-on, no load or load when the actual operating frequency measured.

5. Apply a thin layer of silicone grease (or butter and petroleum jelly) to the contact surface before tightening, and be careful not to apply silicone grease to the connecting screws and screw holes.

6. Tighten the two parts carefully. According to the different specifications of connecting screws, control the appropriate tightening torque. Where possible, it should be tightened moderately.

7. If you loosen the joint surface again, you should not see any scars.

8, touch the vibration system amplitude uniform, no strange sound, no local serious fever.

9. After working for a period of time, there should be no oxidation or ablative traces on the joint surface, otherwise it means that the contact here is not good, and the ultrasonic energy is seriously lost here.

 

When the Ultrasonic Oscillator is in use, it heats up, which is mainly caused by three reasons. One is that the welder will heat up or the material treated by ultrasonic will heat up, or the mold (tool head) and the amplitude rod will heat up for a long time, and these heat will be transferred to the transducer. The second is the power loss of the transducer itself. Since the energy conversion efficiency is not 100%, the lost part of the energy must be converted into heat. The temperature rise will lead to the change of transducer parameters and gradually offset the optimal matching state. More seriously, the temperature rise will lead to the deterioration of piezoelectric ceramic wafer performance. That, in turn, makes the transducer work worse and heat up faster, a vicious cycle. So we must give the transducer good cooling conditions, generally air cooling at room temperature; If necessary, air cooling can also be used. Under normal conditions, the temperature rise caused by these two points is also normal, under normal cooling conditions, there will be no major problems.
