What are the possible reasons for the failure of ultrasonic metal welding machine?

Apr 16, 2025

1. Equipment component failure
Welding head problem
The welding head is loose, broken or worn, resulting in poor energy transfer during welding.
The welding head does not match the transducer, affecting the ultrasonic amplitude output.

Transducer failure
The transducer system is damaged, resulting in a decrease in the efficiency of sound energy transmission.
The assembly problem of the transducer and the horn causes abnormal vibration or noise.

Solenoid valve and cylinder problem
Poor solenoid valve or poor cylinder buffering causes abnormal lifting of the welding head.
Insufficient or unstable air pressure affects welding pressure and stability.

2. Electrical system failure
Power supply and transformer problem
Low power supply voltage or blown fuse causes the equipment to fail to start.
The input transformer is damaged, affecting the normal operation of the ultrasonic generator.

Circuit board failure
Poor program control circuit causes abnormal equipment operation.
The working switch is damaged or the five-core wire is open, causing the equipment to not operate or operate abnormally.

Overload and overheat protection
Dynamic overload protection is activated, causing the device to shut down due to power overload or frequency mismatch.
Overheat protection is activated, causing the device to automatically power off due to excessive power supply temperature or radiator blockage.
