Guide for fault diagnosis and maintenance of Ultrasonic Generator Driver
1) The indicator is not on
Remove the load from the generator (i.e. any transducer) and restart. If the indicator lights up, the load is not working. If the problem persists after the load is removed, go to the following steps.
Check that the power plug is correctly inserted and the leakage switch is turned off. Check whether the power switch is damaged. Past experience tells us that it is most likely a problem with the connection between the plug and socket.
2) The indicator light is off after running for a period of time
Check whether the fuse, rectifier bridge or power tube is burned out. Examine the circuit board and related components carefully to find the cause of overload, such as short circuit cycles. It is worth noting that the aging of the transducer may also cause current instability and further lead to generator damage.
3) Low output when the indicator light is on
In addition to the load itself, this may be due to a frequency mismatch between the transducer and the generator, which can be resolved by following the following troubleshooting steps.
Turn off the power and change the matching inductance by increasing or decreasing the inductance of the washer. Then turn on the power and slowly adjust the frequency potentiometer with a screwdriver (0.5khz each time) to find the best working frequency. At this time, the current reaches the maximum.
4) No output when the indicator light is on
This can happen in a number of ways, starting with checking that the connection between the generator and the sensor is sound. Use a multimeter to check whether the power cord and plug are broken. If all is well, there may be a fault inside the generator. Finally, ensure that the transducer is intact without short circuit.
