Sonic Welding Transducer

Sonic welding transducer is mainly composed of central piezoelectric ceramic elements, front and rear metal cover plates, prestressed screws, electrode sheets and insulating tubes. This kind of sandwich transducer produces stable ultrasonic wave when the load changes. It is the most basic and main method to obtain power ultrasonic driving source.

Ultrasonic transducer is a kind of piezoelectric ceramic resonant with ultrasonic frequency. It converts electrical signals into mechanical vibration through the piezoelectric effect of materials. The acoustic welding transducer is an energy conversion device. Its function is to convert the input electrical power into mechanical power (i.e. ultrasonic) and then transmit it, and a small part of the power consumed by itself. The ultrasonic generator converts 220V mains power into high-frequency current, and the ultrasonic transducer converts the high-frequency current into mechanical vibration, which is amplified by the ultrasonic horn, and finally transmitted to the ultrasonic welding tool head. Sonic Welding Transducer usually have magnetostrictive and piezoelectric ceramic forms.

Ultrasonic transducer is the core component of welding machine, which is mainly composed of vibrator and amplitude modulator. Its function is to drive the whole transducer to resonate through the simple harmonic vibration of vibrator under the excitation of electrical signal, so as to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. The sonic welding transducer adopts a sandwich structure, which is composed of pre-stressed bolts to clamp the front and rear drive blocks, piezoelectric wafers and electrode sheets. The front drive block and the amplitude modulator are assembled by connecting screws.
