Functions of piezoelectric ultrasonic converter

The piezoelectric crystal is used for resonance operation. As shown above, the internal structure has two piezoelectric wafers and a resonance plate. When the frequency of the external pulse signal at the two poles is equal to the natural oscillation frequency of the piezoelectric chip, the piezoelectric chip will resonate and drive the resonance plate to vibrate to generate ultrasonic waves, which is the ultrasonic generator; If there is no voltage, when the resonance plate receives the ultrasonic wave, the piezoelectric oscillator will be pressed down to vibrate, and the mechanical energy will be converted into an electrical signal and then become an ultrasonic receiver. The structure of the ultrasonic transmitting converter is slightly different from that of the receiving converter.
Bonding method of ultrasonic vibrating head of ultrasonic cleaning machine:
Most piezoelectric ultrasonic cleaning system manufacturers use high temperature epoxy resin to connect the transducer to its radiation surface. Corvida uses metallurgical studs to connect the sensor to the epoxy resin to prevent the sensor from falling off the studs, providing a stronger bond than epoxy alone. In fact, if you try to throw one of our sensors off the fuel tank with a hammer, you will make a hole in the fuel tank instead of removing the sensor!
The magnetostrictive transducer connects the base of the ultrasonic transducer to the ultrasonic diaphragm by vacuum brazing.
Epoxy bonded sensors without metallurgical studs cannot withstand harsh environments where objects may fall onto the diaphragm and damage the epoxy bonded sensor. However, these environments do not exist in 99% of ultrasonic cleaning operations. In addition, the sensor can easily prevent such damage.
