Galvanized Steel Sheet Ultrasonic Cleaning Process Specifications and Key Control Points

Jan 28, 2026

The application of ultrasonic cleaning equipment in the cleaning process of galvanized steel sheets requires adherence to scientific process specifications, a requirement that closely aligns with the operating standards for tin-plated sheet cleaning equipment. Because zinc is an amphoteric metal with high chemical activity, a neutral to low-alkaline special cleaning agent must be used during cleaning, and the use of acidic cleaning agents is strictly prohibited. The cleaning temperature should be controlled between 25-45℃, avoiding temperatures exceeding 50℃. The ultrasonic cleaning time should be controlled within 5 minutes to prevent prolonged cavitation impact from damaging the galvanized layer.

Furthermore, after cleaning, the sheets must be rinsed promptly with deionized water and dried quickly to prevent residual cleaning solution from causing secondary corrosion. Controlling these process details is crucial for ensuring the quality of galvanized steel sheet cleaning and represents core experience summarized from long-term practice with tin-plated sheet cleaning equipment.
