How to solve the problem of wrinkling in the welding fabric of ultrasonic lace machine?
Jul 04, 2025
1. Choose fabrics suitable for ultrasonic welding
Recommended materials: Polyester (PET), Nylon (PA), Blended fabric containing thermoplastic fibers (with good ultrasonic welding effect).
Avoid materials such as pure cotton, fabrics with excessive elasticity (such as high spandex content), fabrics that are too thin or easily melted (such as some low melting point synthetic fibers).
Solution:
Replace with a fabric more suitable for ultrasonic welding.
For fabrics with high elasticity, heat setting treatment or lining reinforcement can be carried out first.
2. Fabric pretreatment
Tension control: Ensure uniform tension during fabric feeding, avoiding over tightening or over loosening.
Antistatic treatment: high electrostatic environment may lead to uneven absorption of cloth. Antistatic spray can be used or the humidity of the workshop can be adjusted (40% -60%).
Pre ironing: For easily wrinkled fabrics, low-temperature ironing can be performed first to reduce shrinkage deformation during welding.
3. Pressure adjustment
Problem: Excessive pressure → Fabric is squeezed and deformed; Uneven pressure → skewed and wrinkled welding lines.
Solution:
Reduce pressure to just flatten the fabric without causing deformation.
Check the parallelism between the welding head and the bottom mold to ensure even pressure distribution.
