Application of ultrasonic welding in the manufacture of aluminum shell battery
In the manufacturing process of aluminum shell battery, for the pole lug with a large number of layers, the pole lug pre welded by the ultrasonic welding machine shall be welded with the pole lug guide plate of the cover plate. If the number of pole lug layers is small, the multi-layer pole lug and cover plate pole lug guide can be directly welded without pre welding; If the thickness of the lug tab of the cover plate is large, pre welding is required even if the number of lug layers is small. Pre welding plays the role of shaping, which is conducive to the welding between the lead piece of the cover plate pole lug and the pole lug.
Equipment with lower power can be selected. Equipment with higher power can be selected during cover plate welding. In order to ensure the welding quality, tension equipment needs to be used to check the welding effect, and the welding parameters can be adjusted according to the test results until the welding effect is good.
Application of ultrasonic welding in the manufacture of soft pack battery
The soft pack battery is different from the aluminum shell battery. In the manufacturing process, the soft pack battery needs to pre weld the multi-layer pole lug, and then weld the pole lug lead sheet with the pre welded pole lug. The pole lug lead sheet has the same function as the pole column of the aluminum shell battery. The whole process is divided into two steps: pole lug pre welding and pole lug lead welding. The number of soft pack battery layers is small, and the ultrasonic welding machine with small power can be used.
For the soft pack battery, the lug tabs of the positive and negative electrodes need to be welded on the positive and negative electrodes and wound to form a single cell. In this process, ultrasonic welding machine is needed to weld the tab. Because the tab is thin, low-power machine is selected for welding.
