Common problems and maintenance methods of ultrasonic generator

Ultrasonic generator is an important part of high-power ultrasonic system. Most ultrasonic power supplies use generator as driving power supply, which is relatively durable in terms of usability. But there will also be some small faults. How can we solve them?

Turn on the generator power switch, the switch indicator light is on, the cooling fan rotates normally, the ultrasonic vibration plate vibrates, but the dial indicator has no indication or the indication is very small. The indication of the dial indicator does not change with the "frequency adjustment" potentiometer on the adjustment panel.

Resolvent:

1. Adjust the potentiometer behind the dial indicator;

2. Ensure that the dial indicator power terminal has + - 12V DC power input

3. Replace type B circuit board or double 15V solid-state transformer

4. Repair or replace the dial indicator

Turn on the power switch of the generator and the fuse tube will burn out immediately. After replacing the new fuse tube, the same fault of burning the fuse tube still occurs (this is the most common fault of ultrasonic generator)

Resolvent:

1. Replace the power module

2. Replace rectifier bridge stack

3. Replace the power filter

4. Replace the power transformer

5. Replace the output transformer

6. Replace the fault of a and B circuit boards

The output of ultrasonic generator is weak, and the vibration force of ultrasonic vibrating plate is small

Resolvent:

1. Check current and vibration plate for short circuit

2. Adjust the current to 2.5 ~ 3.5A

3. Repair or replace the vibration plate
