Several factors affecting the effectiveness of ultrasonic cleaning

1. The cleaning time settings for components and products with different cleaning times of ultrasonic cleaning machines will also be different. Setting an appropriate time is conducive to saving time and achieving the best cleaning effect (generally set to 10-20 minutes). If the time is too short, the workpiece cannot be cleaned. Excessive time can lead to cavitation spots on the surface of the cleaned sample, affecting the surface finish.
2. Due to the different physical characteristics of each device, we should choose a different cleaning temperature when cleaning. For example, for oils and fats, it is advisable to maintain a temperature above 50 ℃; For aluminum parts, it is generally appropriate to choose around 40 ℃. If the temperature is too high, oxidation spots will form; The burr type is generally selected below 15 ℃.
3. The frequency of ultrasonic cleaning machines is generally between 25KHZ and 130KHZ. When using water or water ultrasonic cleaning equipment cleaning agents, the physical cleaning force caused by cavitation is obviously beneficial to low frequencies, typically around 15-30kHz. For parts with small gaps, slits, and deep holes, it is better to use high frequency (generally above 40 kHz) for cleaning, even hundreds of kHz. When cleaning clock parts, use 400 kHz. If you use broadband frequency modulation cleaning, the effect is better.
4. The power of standard ultrasonic cleaning machines ranges from 100W to 1500W. High power products are mostly used for cleaning hardware, machinery, and other industries or for cleaning heavily contaminated general items.
