The working principle of ultrasonic welding is to apply tens of thousands of high-frequency vibrations per second to the contact surfaces of two hot-melt plastics through the mold. merged into one.

Therefore, when the ultrasonic welding machine is working, it is inevitable that the mold will be hot, as long as its temperature does not exceed 80 degrees, it can be allowed to work normally.

If the working temperature of the mold exceeds 80°C, it means that there is a problem in the design and manufacture of the ultrasonic mold. The reasons can be found from three aspects:

1. The ultrasonic frequency is wrong, resulting in low power conversion efficiency, weak output power and high heat generation;

2. The cooperation between the ultrasonic transducer and the mold is not tacit, and it is unstable and generates heat during work;

3. The problem of the mold itself, the unreasonable design of the mold or the inappropriate heat treatment will generate high current and high impedance, resulting in heat generation.
