Product Description

With light use, an ultrasonic horn may last for several years. Under continuous operation or demanding applications, it might only last a few months.

The lifespan of the horn depends on various factors, including but not limited to:

1)The presence of solids. Particulates can abrade the horn. The larger, harder, and more concentrated the particles, the faster the wear.

2)Acidic solutions will wear down the horn more quickly than neutral or alkaline solutions.

3)Operating the probe at higher amplitudes will accelerate wear.
