Ultrasonic Wire Soldering Equipment

Ultrasonic wire soldering equipment uses high-frequency vibration waves to be transmitted to the surfaces of two objects to be welded.

Ultrasonic wire soldering equipment uses high-frequency vibration waves to be transmitted to the surfaces of two objects to be welded. Under pressure, the surfaces of the two objects are rubbed against each other to form a junction between the molecular layers. Whether it is ultrasonic plastic welding or ultrasonic metal welding, the basic principles are roughly the same, but due to the difference between metal materials and plastics, ultrasonic metal welding requires higher precision, higher power capacity and low impedance. The requirements for components such as transducers and transducers are more stringent. It is these requirements that made the early ultrasonic welding devices and technologies used to weld plastics incapable of welding metal materials.

Working principle

Ultrasonic metal welding machine is a new type of equipment that uses the ultrasonic high-frequency vibration friction principle to convert the ultrasonic vibration energy into friction energy and transfer it to the metal surface to be welded. When the friction generates heat and applies pressure to it, the metal structure molecules are fully activated to form the fusion between molecular layers.

Ultrasonic metal welding machine is used for different processes of ultrasonic welding of materials such as nickel, aluminum, copper, and aluminum nickel composite strips for lithium battery electrodes. Ultrasonic metal welding machine is a mechanical processing process that uses high-frequency mechanical vibration to weld non ferromagnetic metal material workpieces. During the welding process, one of the workpieces is fixed, while the other workpiece vibrates cyclically on its surface at a frequency of 20/40kHz. At the same time, pressure is applied to the workpieces to form a strong bond between them, achieving the welding effect. During the welding process, there is no current passing through the workpiece being welded, nor is there any welding arc generated in the welding mode. Due to the absence of issues such as heat conduction and electrical resistivity in ultrasonic welding, it is undoubtedly an ideal metal welding system for non-ferrous materials, especially for fine and thin materials such as aluminum, nickel, copper, silver, etc. Single point, multi-point, square, strip, single layer, multi-layer, and composite welding achieve ideal results.

Applications

Ultrasonic wire soldering equipment is widely used in industries such as automobiles, construction machinery and equipment, agricultural equipment, ships, aerospace equipment, and household appliances. Among many wire harnesses, especially because the length of copper wire harnesses in these devices may be as high as several kilometers, in order to facilitate the propagation of energy and control signals, these wire harnesses are connected in a flexible and orderly manner by welding or crimping together.
