Usage of Hand Control Ultrasonic Welder

1) Firstly, connect the ground wire to connect the power supply - connect the air supply - turn on the power supply, and the indicator light will be on.

2) Turn on the power switch of the ultrasonic generator, the power indicator light is on, the output fault indicator light is slightly on, and the power adjustment knob is placed in a small position.

3) In use, due to some reason, the output fault indicator light is on, causing overcurrent protection. At this time, it needs to be turned off: turn the power adjustment knob counterclockwise, reduce the power, and then turn it on for operation.

4) During normal welding, the welded part will be clamped onto the welding fixture, and the foot switch will be pressed to perform a welding process.

5) Adjust the "Welding Time" knob to increase the welding time clockwise and decrease it counterclockwise.

6) Power, time, and pressure are three important factors for welding systems, and different specifications of workpieces require different powers. Time, excitation, and repeated adjustment to achieve better process specifications.

7) When the transducer is unloaded, the generator cannot be turned on for a long time, otherwise it is easy to generate heat and damage the transducer.

8) After use, remember to turn off the power switch.

 

Precautions for using ultrasonic spot welding machines

1. Ultrasound directly uses 220V mains power, so the body should be properly grounded before being powered on, and the grounding resistance should be less than 4 ohms.

2. When the mains voltage changes more than 10%, the machine should be equipped with an AC voltage stabilizer to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the Ultrasonic welding machine.

3. After power on, do not place your hands under the upper welding mold to avoid high-frequency vibration and high-voltage damage.

4. When ultrasonic sound is emitted, the upper welding mold should not come into contact with the lower welding mold, fixture, and workbench to avoid damage to the machine parts.

5. Before Ultrasonic welding, it is important to make sound wave detection first, and replace the welding die with it. This operation cannot be neglected.

6. Design, process, and adjust the welding mold, otherwise it may damage the ultrasonic energy conversion system of the welding machine.

7. The pneumatic system is made of plastic products, and the external air source pressure applied should not exceed 0.5Mpa, otherwise it may cause explosion or cause the machine to burn.

8. Audible noise will be produced when the frequency of Ultrasonic welding decreases. It is recommended that long-term operators wear ear protectors.
