Product Description:
The handhold ultrasonic welding machine (also known as an ultrasonic welding gun) is a portable spot-welding device consisting of an ultrasonic generator and a pistol-style handheld gun (comprising a transducer and a welding tip). Designed for single-point welding of thermoplastics and non-woven fabrics, it eliminates the need for adhesives, screws, or high-temperature soldering irons, making it ideal for on-site spot welding, riveting, and sealing operations on large workpieces. It operates by converting standard mains electricity into high-frequency electrical energy (20 kHz, 28 kHz, 30 kHz, 35 kHz, or 40 kHz) via the ultrasonic generator. Inside the handheld gun, an ultrasonic transducer converts this electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical vibrations-oscillating tens of thousands of times per second. When the welding tip presses against the two layers of the workpiece, the vibration generates frictional heat at the contact interface, causing it to melt instantly. Upon releasing the switch, the vibration ceases and the material cools rapidly, forming a strong weld joint through molecular fusion; a single welding cycle takes only 0.1 to 1 second.
